Sometimes When I Write

Sometime when I write, I write with you in mind,

thinking of you throughout the whole piece.

Sometimes when I write, I write for me, 

to see what it is I’m feeling as the words come one-by-one.

Sometimes when I write, I write for one, 

and only one, the imaginative one who lives inside of me.

Sometimes when I write, I write for whom I’ve yet to know, 

and whom I've yet to meet. 

But sometimes when I write, I write for her, and mostly for her, 

and the words I write are, I love you.
